This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Elmhurst is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Elmhurst follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Iβve never tried sisig as I donβt eat pork so when I tried the sisig bangusβ¦.omg it was soooo good! I love daing na bangus, but this sisig was the business! We also tried the Bangus sinigang and it was very tasty. Right amount of tamarind and saltiness. The tortang talong was solid as well. It was my first time checking out Lahi and trying the sisig bangus and it definitely wonβt be my last. Whenever I come to Queens to visit my dad, this place is a must visit. You wonβt be disappointed!

The food was delicious and the service incredible- both super nice and extremely fast. I especially liked the pork knuckles and pork tacos, and will absolutely be coming back again. Karaoke was also so much fun! π€

Every dish at Lahi was delicious. I honestly canβt even begin to describe how good the food was. The flavors were rich, comforting, and so thoughtfully done. On top of that, the atmosphere and the service made it one of the best dining experiences Iβve had in New York. I would come back again and again. I loved the spring rolls, the noodles, and the chicken adobo was absolutely perfect.

We sat in and ordered three dishes. Everything was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Then we ordered Halo halo after and that was so good. Brought me back to my childhood in the Philippines. Overall, a pleasant experience. Every dish was about $15-$18 and comes with white rice. You can add one dollar to get garlic rice. We brought our little one and they had a high chair and were super accommodating. We ordered crispy diniguan (pictured), pancit (pictured) and chicken sisig (not pictured).
